Summary

Snorec does not collect, store, or transmit your recordings or personal data. Your sleep recordings, alarms, and settings stay in your phone's local storage and are never uploaded to us or any third party. The app works fully offline and uses your device's built-in text-to-speech for the talking alarm.

What we do not collect

• Your audio recordings (snoring, sleep talking, and similar sounds)
• Name, email, phone number, or any account information
• Your alarms, sleep sound choices, or app settings
• Device identifiers tied to your identity
• Location data or browsing activity inside the app

Microphone

Snorec uses the microphone only while you explicitly start a recording, to capture sounds during your night. The recorded audio is written to your device's local storage and is never sent anywhere. You can play back, rename, or delete any recording, and deleting it removes it from your device.

What is processed by third parties

1. Google AdMob (advertising)

Snorec shows banner and occasional interstitial ads through Google AdMob to keep the app free. AdMob may use an advertising identifier — IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android — to deliver non-personalized ads. On iOS, ads are served non-personalized by default unless you opt in via App Tracking Transparency. You can reset or disable the advertising identifier in your device's privacy settings. Snorec Premium ($4.99 one-time) removes all ads permanently.

2. Apple App Store / Google Play (in-app purchases)

Premium Lifetime purchases are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. Snorec never sees your payment information — purchase status is verified through Apple StoreKit or Google Play Billing receipts.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because Snorec does not collect personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, delete, or port from our side. You can clear all on-device data at any time by:

• Deleting individual recordings inside the app
• Uninstalling the app, which removes all local storage

For advertising opt-out, you can:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable Snorec
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

Children's privacy

Snorec is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Because the app collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to delete — but if you have a concern, please contact us and we will investigate.

Data retention

All app data lives on your device. We have no servers storing your recordings or personal data, so there is nothing for us to retain. Uninstalling Snorec removes everything stored locally.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material change will be reflected with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
